TESTIMONIALS

The LMIF principles are more than simply style or drive. These principles proclaim understanding and involve vision and courage. How has the “spirit of courage” standing firm, impacted you as a leader?

As a leader I have learnt many things that will be a stumbling block to my leadership and for me to stand firm I must be a proactive leader instead of reactive leader and that will help me to withstand any challenges that may come on my way. I will be given a listening ear to my followers and that can help me to understand them and their needs or wants.  In the principle of understanding people I learnt at least four basic needs of an individual; to be appreciated, to have the sense of belonging; to have the sense of achievement and to feel secure. As a leader I learnt that if I am been criticized I should not mind how it was

said but be more concern about what is said in order to make correction for a better society.  As a leader I should be able to know that when I understand my people very well it will help me to develop them because I cannot influence if I do not develop, the leadership principle of influence state that influence is the power of a   person or in a person that can affect the behavior of others without force or authority.  In the principle of judgment I learnt that when the judgment is presented to me I should try to be transparent and not  favor any party and I should be conscious of what is right not who is right and fine anybody suppose to be fined not minding his/her personality once he is guilty.  Being transparent and listen to my people, understanding their needs and give fair judgment will make my leadership respected because leadership is leading people to see what they want to see.

Yes, LMIF principles proclaim understanding, vision and courage. The “spirit of courage” standing firm impacted me positively a lot. At least days have taught me that as a leader I should always not run away from my responsibilities but deal with the pressing issues and also be sincere to my juniors and all that does something in come common with me.

Initially I have not been opened to receive confrontation, conflict and criticism but now I see these practices in a different ways  for examples it take good stand to listen to people and their agitations or complains. I give creative listening to things my wife has to say which confront, conflict or criticize my instructions or suggestions. Now the same thing is application to my children and all. By doing so, it helps me to understand a person who has different view to mine. See at least their points or what they want from me. That way I get improve in my family’s leadership and create amazing influence

When I started riding keke which this Foundation gave me, I was disheartened absolutely because the area I hope to operate disappointed in such a way that I desire to drop the keke but when I went back to re-read the principles I got courage and began to look for another area of operation and I achieved it and the area is improving every day by day; and I am still looking for another area of operation to make balance and this is how the spirit courage, standing firm has impacted me as a leader.

The LMIF principles are more than simply style or drive. These principles proclaim understanding and involve vision and courage. How has the “spirit of courage” standing firm, impacted you as a leader?

Yes, the LMIF principle gave me “spirit of courage which has impacted my life as a leader because as a group leader in my church for 4 years, I have been facing a lot of challenges and criticism, confrontation and lack of listening to my group members but today the principles or skill of leadership my lecturer taught me has made me to overcome the challenges of my group. The spirit of courage has impacted a lot to my life as a leader because our group C members in my church always comes first in everything we participated in the church because my members can understand me now, no more criticism and confrontation because I have learnt that for me to be a leader in my family, society etc, I must understand people, listen to their criticism, develop people and influence people with a good character not just money since influence is the power of person or in a person that affect the behavour of others without the use of force or authority.

For me to be a good leader, all the 11 leadership principles or skills I learnt from LMIF Training must be applied because if I begin to listen to their criticism, I will be able to find out my weakness ie where  I am not doing well. Even those that criticize me I need to take them as friend because in every confrontation and criticism there may atom of truth despite the attitude of the critic during the criticism I must open listen to him/her in order to know my weakness. The earlier I realize my mistake and correct it the better of I will be at the end.

The spirit of courage standing firm has impacted me because in that my group C in our church, they have elected me again this year and it was our group that came first in the UNIQUE MOTHER FOR THE YEAR 2020.

The spirit courage standing firm impacted me because in my family my daughter who always quarrel with me before but now she does that I usually apply the principles of leadership to follow her which resulted to her sudden change and now she is my best daughter in my house.

I will use this opportunity to thank Almighty God for given me the Grace to be one of the students who were given opportunity to be impacted by LMIF. And I also thank Hon. Edward Ibuzo who brought this golden opportunity to our door step free to acquire the knowledge on how to prosper and solve our problems ourselves, my coach Onyeka C Ozoudeokpoko and my wonderful lecturer mr Onwe whom God used to teach us all the principles without collecting money us. May the good Lord bless them in all their endeavour in Jesus name. May the good Lord enlarge their coasts in life because these principles they thought me are the only way one can be able to succeed in life if I obey the principle.

The LMIF principles are more than simply style or drive. These principles proclaim understanding and involve vision and courage. How has the “spirit of courage” standing firm, impacted you as a leader?

The spirit of courage standing firm has impacted me as a leader through the principle of correction, conflict and confrontation.  Correction is the ability to remove what is wrong to preserve what is right. Principle Correction has impacted my life because before I started this training I hate to be corrected because I think I was always right but when I came across this principle I now knew that without correction my life will be valueless.

Principle of conflict has also thought me to always be ready for conflict before it turns to confrontation. Though it has never helped me in any area but it says that I should prepare for conflict but victory is from God, as a man I ought to help myself because Bible says that God help those who help themselves. Therefore,  this conflict have made me to know that without conflict one can’t survive and as a business man I suppose to create one because it will make me not to fear any challenges that may comes my way. Remember most new ideas are initially rejected as they conflict with comfortable old habits. Change is not always easy and some people will never change.

Confrontation in other hand is the disagreement between two or more people. This principle made me to know that confrontation is not bad because it will help me to know my strength and weakness. The important lesson this principle taught me is that I should try not to loose important relationship as a result of confrontation.

The impact of LMIF on the life of her members cannot be over emphasized especially me and I ask God to reward Hon. Ibuzo Edward and Directors of this foundation who gave us this knowledge free.

The LMIF principles are more than simply style or drive. These principles proclaim understanding and involve vision and courage. How has the “spirit of courage” standing firm, impacted you as a leader?

The LMIF Principles proclaim understanding and involve vision and courage. As a LMIF student the leadership principle of criticism taught me that when someone criticize me I should listen to the critic because sometimes what he/she says may be right but my friends may not be courageous to tell me.  This may help me to take correction and overcome some of my weaknesses. Correction on the other hand is the ability to remove what is wrong to preserve what is right.  This can only be done if I remove my ego or pride and listen to the critic despite his/ her negative attitude during the criticism.

Principle of listening also impacted me most because it make me to understand that if I listen to others I will earn the right to be listen to in return which creates values. I was made to understand that wisdom is not an inherited gift; rather it is acquired through paying attention when listening and learning by observing and taking the time to understand. A wise man will hear is a common saying. This means that if I am wise I will be a good listener.

The principle of understanding people taught me at least the four basic needs of every person; to have sense of belonging, to be appreciated, to have the sense of achievement and to feel secure. This helps me to understand the people’s feeling and their behaviour and know why they are doing what they are doing. By doing this people will recognize me as an understanding person and that has been helping me in my family and my business dealing with people, it brings progress in my business and enhance more mutual relationships among the family members.
